24Hr Loaded Heart was a fund raising event devised specifically to enable Horizon to take their 2007 show 'My Filthy Hunt' to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. We sought 4 Wakefield College students* (2 girls & 2 boys) who were up for the challenge of rehearsing and re-staging the first ever Horizon Arts show in 24hrs.

To enter the draw, students were required to buy £1 tickets from before the draw on 25th April... They could buy as many as desired, the more bought the better the chance of winning!

After last year's success with Everyone Should Have A Gun, this year we aim to maintain our success by giving the Edinburgh audiences a taste of My Filthy Hunt.

However due to increased costs and ever increasing intention to thrill our audiences... we had to come up with another ingenious plan to raise funds. Last year we conceived Living In A Box, a torturous ordeal for our actors Hayley and Laura who spent 3 days and nights contained within the boundaries of the Everyone Should A Gun Set. The stunt received a lot of attention from local press, and we have every intention of whipping up as much interest this year.

The 4 people drawn out of the hat were Aidan Dickinson, Lisa Hughes, Robert Hartley and Beki Shires. The lucky four spent 24hrs with the My Filthy Hunt cast (who were all original cast members of Loaded Heart). In this time, all 8 cast members went through a gruelling (yet fun and rewarding) rehearsal process in an effort to replicate the 60 minute physical theatre show. Make no mistake, this was no mean feat... the show is physically demanding and there are lots of complicated moves that the winners had to learn.

We also broadcasted the whole event to the world via our webcam... See Webcam Blitz in the Video Gallery
